Well done Porsche, you've made a good looking car, and lighter than the predecessor with shorter overhangs (an achievement with current regs). Never wanted a Boxster until now.

That really is a thing of beauty. Gorgeous. I can't wait for the new Cayman if it's designed anything like that as I prefer tin tops.
I hope the Cayman looks like this - would want another Porsche more than a 911 for the first time ever!

I like the look of that... apart from the whole rear light/spoiler interface bit.

Yes it does look like a facelift MR2, but i do like it well done Mr Porsche

The boxster is finally growing out of the hairdresser image and is being aprreciated for being a great car in its own right.

Absolutely awesome... Would seriously consider switching from my 997 Turbo to this in a year or so... May sounds nuts and it could be me 'getting carried away with the moment'. Something to ponder, which is half the fun!

I've always not been a fan of the boxster , but the spider and this new model are two of the nicest cars Porsche have made .

Really nIce looking car.

Never liked the Clarksonism of "poor mans Porsche" I've always thought it to be a great car in its own right.
Agreed - at £30K it is not a poor man's anything, until it depreciates to £6K with the danger that the nikasil liners will go oval and you'll need to spend the same again at Autofarm to get it fixed. Cracking motor though.

The better half had a 987 Boxster S, sold last year... phenomenal drive, so sorted..

She came back from a test drive in it's replacement, an R8... big smile on her face.. "It's great, drives almost like the Boxster"...imagine my delight at the cost to change
