Dont read blogs or news on the internet. Go back to monthly magazines, where a big reveal can get you a cover shot or at least a big feature. On a title which is on magazine stands for a month.
But if you DO like up-to-the-minute news on the internet, then get used to teasers. One drives the other, because if manufacturers know that if they save it all up for a big reveal, they will be bumped off the "front page" by a smaller story within 24hrs.
So to make sure a decent number of people know about the launch, they have to string it out over several weeks with teasers.
So its actually PHs fault we have teasers
