Overall not a bad evolution of the DB9/DBS theme. Front end is a little unresolved but I guess this is in part to meet the pedestrian impact regs.
Pricing will be important, will need to kept under £200K othwewise base price will drift uncomfortably close to the Ferrari F12 which will offer significantly more performance if the rumoured 573bhp of the Aston is correct.
Is it just me or does the front end look distinctly Ferrari California-esque (esp. in THAT colour)? Rear 3/4 is lovely though. Really don't like this, how have they managed to take something as beautiful as a DB9 and develop it into this?
I have always liked the DB9, thought the DBS was a little fussy but really liked the Virage. Hope some of the details on this are just for the concept and are dropped for production.

Aston Martin, in almost ten years, still seem unable to work out where to go from the basic DB9 shape, as evidenced by this. I can see their problem but this looks a bit desperate. DBS got some bling, Virage got some more bling, this has more bling still. Seriously, is their only option to keep desperately adding vents and carbon bits?
After all the faffing about, they've been forced to make it genuinely uglier for the sake of looking 'new', which I suppose means they're trying...

Aston have a great problem - how to redesign the best looking range of cars on the market, and some of the best looking cars of all time.
Another big problem they have is that their designs have become over familiar due to increased sales volumes - again a problem that is great to have.
The bloke at the end of my road got his early DB7 out for summer this week, to my mind this is the perfect looking modern Aston.
I wish Aston well wherever they go styling wise. I'm confident they know best.
