While looking for a picture of a matt black Overfinch Range Rover to post in here, I stumbled across this...

I think it'd be perfect!

Very cool, but what's with the suspension height at the front, looks like it has no engine installed...

It's on a RR chassis. Ideal for traversing post-apocalyptic wasteland. (Or pre-apocalypctic Middlesbrough!)

Ah, I see. Ideal Mad Max fodder then, just needs a giant supercharger and your there.

Actually, if there was one car that was crying out for matte black, it's a DMC-12!

Only if its anodised or maybe carbide treated (not sure that's possible on SS) otherwise it sort of defeats the point of having a stainless steel car.

I would go with the Lister LeMans XJS, but hard top:

I could imagine a version of this with a big supercharger sticking through the bonnet. Preferably a replica though, wouldn't want to do it to a real Lister. >shudder<

The Mad-Max'ed Mk.3 Capris generally look a bit naff and a waste of a good Capri, but this Mk.1 looks not bad at all:

Yeah, well, maybe he was the reason for the shortage?

Good! About time he got a lead role! Definitely deserves it after his performance as Bane.

He's come a long way from Layercake.
