Apart from having wheels, glass and an almost similar colour. I see no resemblance at all and feel you are more than clutching at straws. Is there even a single line or deign detail on either car at are even remotely similar to each other? Thought not.

I'd imagine the target markets like China will be all over it like a rash.
Plus in the oneupmanship circles it will be seen as a Roller in the 4x4 world.
I pretty sure I'm not in the target market but what do I know? I'm drooling over a L405....
Can imagine armoured ones rolling across sand dunes..
Not for me but I doubt it was ever designed for me

Whatever it reminds you of, it's not good looking is it ! The interior is lovely but Bentley have had trouble with their exterior design for some time now.
China is the reason all the European luxury car brands are launching SUVs, that is what sells there. If the SUVs mean the companies can expand and continue to employ automotive engineers, especially in the UK, then I am all for it! Also SUVs can fund the more interesting projects, like racing and the GT3 cars in Bentley's case.

It easily looks as good and more elegant than a Range Rover does. I think the biggest trouble is, it's popular on PH to hate SUV's and 4x4's and anything that is drastically different from before. If this same SUV had been displayed as anything but a Bentley I'm sure many more people would say it looks good.Looking forward to seeing one of these in the flesh. Granted the exterior is not as striking as it could be, but in terms of craftsmanship, it will be hard to beat. I'm more surprised about it possibly being fitted with a W12, I was expecting them to utilise a tweaked version of the V8 GT engine.
