I leave the aircon on permanently, all year. Some think this is odd and air con is just for when it's hot. Doesn't lower my MPG so why not?
It definitely will, you just aren't measuring it correctly wink
If it does it's less than 1 MPG, 3 litre petrol engine. I don't think it taxes it much.

At traffic lights I can't help but keep checking that I'm first gear and not third or reverse to avoid embarrassment. I also tend to apologise to it if I don't spot huge pot holes and end up barrelling through them
I do the same but with the handbrake as well. I'm often to be found taking the car out of gear and putting it back in gear when in traffic, and I always check the handbrake is where I want it at that particular point in time. Normally I'll check gear, handbrake, gear, then leave it for a bit.

As for potholes, I just tend to swear at them...

Is this another of those threads where the inhabitants of PH remind us what a bunch of nutters they are?

I like all the vents lined up, my stereo set to an odd number, and in winter I drive with the heater on and the window slightly open.

I don't seem to do it as often now, but if I was listening to the radio and I was driving through roadworks, I would change the station to Classic FM.

And something I'm sure I mentioned in a similar thread a while back - when changing lanes on a motorway I like to get my wheels between the cats eyes smile

Does dropping the clutch when turning engine over count? I do this every time.

I always have to watch my door locks going down, then try the handle afterwards.

I've had a Porsche golf umbrella for years, only time I didn't use it was when I had a Porsche, is that weird?
Bloody comfort access means that if I touch the handles it unlocks again so to do that I would have to go into the house or office and leave the key and return to the car and try the doors.

grrrrrr.

And to the other poster yes I call her babes nuts
