Early Skoda.

Very uncool at the time, but now?

I would think this is heading towards being very 'cool'.
Really!? Christ, what's the world coming to! spin
I agree, old crappy cars as were are cool. Rare and different. I'd actually quite like a crappy old BL thing like an Allegro, old cars like that have real character. Always had more of a soft spot for my old knackered cars I used to have than the expensive kit I have now which is a million times better, but lacks the charm.

The Morgan Aero 8

When a car company has a 92-year heritage of producing fine sports cars, they should never even think about building an obese, cross-eyed pastiche of a sporty 1950s roadster that looks like a cross between what Leslie Phillips and Cyril Smith would look like if they were cars while borrowing parts from the dreadful-as-sin new Volkswagen Beetle.

Most of my car history to be honest:

Ford Cougar - forever hated by most

Rover 600 - a car still uncool even up to its sills in snow

MX-5 - the car PHers love to hate (with MG ZT in background for added uncoolness)

S-Type - the car that didn't save Jaguar (but ultimate kinda did once the bodywork was changed)

I think I specialise in uncool cars. I think I even seek them out. They make utterly fantastic used buys. The good thing about uncool cars is that they're not by definition bad cars - just unpopular due to image problems mostly.

What is wrong with you. I immediately think 'I bet they are enjoying the drive' not they are un-cool.

Any Citroen made in the last 10 years.

As a long term fan of DS / CX and XM I'm forced to agree.
They dropped all the unique points and made them just like something else.
Solution: Buy something else.

I agree. I like seeing proper sports cars out on the roads.

I must also add a vehicle bought ONLY because it's meant to be cool - therefore making it very uncool.
I give you the choice of the rich (they are over £40k for a good one) wannabee surfer from the Home Counties:

Note that the board propped up against it is a total beginners board and not one good surfer (I know many) has one...
Not quite. You see those types in modern VW transporters trying to pull off the same look and that's much more cringeworthy. You know the type- a bit podgy, highlights, middle aged but attempting to look 19. Often found loitering around the nicer bits of the Worthing coast (where waves are rarely higher than a few feet).

Good point laugh

I wouldn't know cool if it slapped me in the face though!

I stick to my original point but have now found something even less cool:

Nothing quite says "I have no friends" like a road car with one seat! Seriously, why would you want something that can't even carry a single passenger? Maybe the target audience don't have such a need...

Saw one of those doing a 'tunnel run' on Bermondsey Street in London's increasingly uncool SE1 area. Give it a rev. Three layers of uncool. Dear lord, the uncool was strong.

Anything BL or older MG stuff is infinitely cooler than e.g. a modern Audi.
