I can't think of a car I have seen that I would rather own than this I struggle to see how it won't be anything other than perfect. All the power you will ever need, lightweight, good looks, manual, amazing chassis and a na engine for me the perfect sportscar fk the gt3
Doesn't everyone complain about the far too long gearing? Edited by greggy50 on Tuesday 3rd February 23:33
The increased power should help, but I wonder why Porsche does not shorten the gearing also?
This will no doubt get a lot of good reviews.
Interesting not doing the PDK gearbox
, presumably they want it slightly slower than the 991 acceleration times. However it may be a boon as the 6 speed manual is always described as peachy.

Doesn't mention weight anywhere, so guess they haven't saved any?
Still looks like (relatively!) good value, with the limited numbers and looking at the 991 GT3 it'll be 100k soon after they come out!

You Mutha.... :-)
I've had my Cayman S for nearly 6 years and had been toying with the idea of upgrading it to SVP's Cayman SV spec. Question, would you invest £12k in upgrading a £16k car.....which will then be probably worth less than an original, or would you save (very) hard for the real thing, the GT4 and hope it becomes a depreciation proof toy?

I wonder if these wheels will be an option? Looked so right for the car in my opinion

GT4 if you can I would have thought. It's bound to hold it's money assuming it's numbers are limited and nobody does hot Porsche's better than Porsche themselves no matter how good they are. That SVP does look interesting though, have you tried one?danp said:

In fairness, i believe the GT3 weighs a little more than a Carrera S. Given the GT4 is a lower cost car, i wouldn't expect any exotic materials, and it's not like they can ditch the rear seats!Still looks like (relatively!) good value, with the limited numbers and looking at the 991 GT3 it'll be 100k soon after they come out!

If you want a lighter one, then you need buckets and PCCBs, which will be another £10k.
I think this looks fantastic and am very tempted despite already having a GT3. As someone has said though, with the 'right' options, you are still looking at c£80k.
