Whats your anual mileage and mpg
Discussion
When I was working, my annual mileage went from a low of 32 thousand miles per year, to a high (For two years running) of 50 and 52 thousand miles per year consecutively on my `work' car, with my fun car doing between a further 3 to 5000 thousand miles per year.
The last work car was a diesel Passat bluemotion which averaged 58.6 mpg over 5 years, with the worst fuel consumption (full/heavy load + as fast as poss) being around 51 mpg, and the best (on one particular run to Scotland and back) of 62 mpg. These figures were obtained from actual fuel put into the tank, against actual miles covered, and were therefore dependent on the accuracy of the fuel station pumps, and the accuracy of the vehicles odometer. I don't really believe what trip computers tell me the car is doing.

I was doing >20k pa in a Saab 9-5 2.2 tid, they were 20k, hateful tedious miles, but averaged about 42mpg.
Due to a new job and shorter commute I'm now on about 8k pa and 24mpg from a Volvo V70 2.4T. It's no sports car but after the Saabs 120 clattery asthmatic horses, the Volvo makes me smile.
