7 year old thread brought up for a picture. hehe

The OP did however say they weren’t going to keep the car due to the “fix” from Seat and various engine components potentially not lasting due to it.

OP here

I didn’t reopen the thread but FYI the car was involved in an accident in 2019 and was written off. No injuries involved.

It only had about 90k on it when written off and was still in its prime.

Absolutely no power but I still miss it as it took me on an amazing tour of Switzerland and its passes. It’s not the car, it’s the journey.

‘Can a 1.2tdi reasonably do 150/170k?’
Does one really need to spoon-feed by fully responding with ‘yes; and here’s evidence of mine having covered 195k without issue’?

Is there an emoji with tongue pressed in the lower lip??? 😄

My sons mate had a Fabia TDI which they used to go back and forth between Manchester and Prestwick for work and it did like 70 mpg, thought it was going to go forever and then something broke rendering it scrap, this that was 170 ish that it failed at.

What did you replace it with?
