That is my understanding too. Think the DB7 Vantage then used the newer XK8 variant of the platform though.

I think Audi's are starting to stock the same indicator bulbs as BMWs cos they're inflating in price rapidly... Or so it seems.

Lotus Esprit:

As well as the famous Marina door handles, Esprits also share the following:

MGB internal door handles.

Austin Princess steering column and stalks.

Citroen mirrors.

Citroen Maserati transaxle.

Ford Cortina steering rack.

A pair of TR7 wiper motors to lift the headlamps.

Rover SD1 tail lamps,

And many, many more.

I knew that one, but couldnt remember the model, they both use an off the shelf o/m component, so you may find that another manufacturer uses the same part too. someone like Ssanyong or Geely or SIAC

The centre console on that Zonda looks like a cheap plastic juke box.

And share it with Ford Consul Capri I believe.

SE5a GTE also has the Marina, Mini, Esprit interior door handles and Mini exterior door handles. I have read that it also has upside down caravan rear lights.

Mk1 Land Rover Disco is a real parts bin special. Off the top of my head....

Tail lights from a Maestro van
Door handles from a Marina
Column stalks from a Metro

Plus the other standard Leyland shared bits (side repeaters, fog lights etc)

My old S1 Elise had locks, upper steering column and stalks from a Corsa, Rover 200 interior door handles, Rover Mini window winders, Peugeot 106 interior switches and most amazingly, Rolls Royce numberplate lights!

and I believe the later FWD Elan used Corolla rear lights.
Nope, they're from the Renault Alpine. As it happens the M100 Elan (and the Esprit of that period) share sidelight and indicator lenses with the Mclaren F1.

Aren't the rear lights from a DB7 a contemporary Mazda 323 unit?

Ferrari 550 and DC2 Integra Type-Rs have the same steering wheel.

Also the RS200 had Sierra doors, but I can't be arsed to find pictures, sorry.
They don't look the same to me, similar but not the same wheel.
