Why so many pictures of cars which aren't stanced?

I do wonder if those in the 'scene' actually know what the scene is.

Quote some which aren't and I am sure we can tell you which scene they belong to.

Oh and about time we posted the ORIGINAL Stance car.

Proper engineering in that one too smile
Was tempted to post it, but I thought it would have been posted!

One of my all time favorite cars, it just sits and looks perfect.
Such a shame it ended up like this:

Great thread OP thumbup

I'm not a fan of the ones with ridiculous camber or stretched rims but the majority of ones without that look great, in my opinion.

Would I 'stance' a car to the degree of the ones in this thread? No, I'd always put handling and performance first but I enjoy looking at them and I'm pleased there is people who modify in this way. The car scene would be boring if everybody modified in the same way.

The Supra on the last page, for starters.

No stretch on the rims, and a good inch or so between tyre and arch. I've run stuff that low as daily drivers - and some cars come from the factory not much higher.

As no-one has said what constitutes stanced that would be hard...

I think a lot of the cars posted look great, I'd just hate to drive them. I'm selling my current car as the standard sport suspension is too harsh for me, it completely takes the fun out of driving.. God knows how bad these would be. I get it as a show car / trailer queen thing though.

I think thats where my main problem with this whole fad comes from. It's the antithesis of what i think a car is, it changes it from being a b road mean machine into some sort of field size paperweight.
