I'm not really a big Beetle fan, but something about that is so right. W00DY said:

I'm sure they're rare, but that's a lot of money for a Punto.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-FIAT-PUNTO-GT-TURBO...

Lada looks fab though!I'm still tempted, but it is very crusty looking 2 years aftre a re-spray. Worries me that after another winter of use it will look really bad.
It's a solid enough car though and goes and stops as well as a 70's Lada could be expected
Like I say, just worried about the quality of the prep/paint it had.

About Half the price of an uno turbo. Admittedly 5K for an uno is expensive, but its similar to saying the price of an m3 is a lot of money for a 3 series You could get a decent fun hatch with a bit of style for that money. Not hating it but rarity does not equal value.

I actually went to view the 2102 this afternoon. Made an offer lower than the (very nice) guy was willing to take.

It does seem like perhaps he's getting out before it needs a decent amount of work done again and it's money you wouldn't get back. Cool car though.I'm still tempted, but it is very crusty looking 2 years aftre a re-spray. Worries me that after another winter of use it will look really bad.

There's this shiny black one at similar money with some niggles too;

When did you last see a Fiat Tempra? I'd almost forgotten they ever existed.

If you want your Mini with leather and air-con this is surely the way to go. Beanie and Aussie accent optional.

About 170bhp I think.
However, with a relatively cheap (off the shelf) manifold and supercharger kit, theyll make an easy and very reliable 350+bhp.
I'm pretty sure that by the time that one was, made, the 5.0 had cracked 200bhp. That's a late Tuned Port Injection. The older Throttle Body Injection cars were much lower thoughHowever, with a relatively cheap (off the shelf) manifold and supercharger kit, theyll make an easy and very reliable 350+bhp.
A few offerings from Down Under...
