Ruby red on this E46 M3. Remember watching a video with an E46 in the same colour. Imola red is my ultimate colour for the E46 if I was ever in a position to own one.

Even rarer though is the banana yellow!
There's a banana yellow one near me!

I would post a pic of my Superb but I've seen three others in the same colour as mine, must have been more popular than I thought!

I saw one of these once and when i was looking to buy an R53 i wanted that colour. I searched the whole of Germany and couldnt find one so extended the search to Italy, Holland and Austria..Nope. I ended up buying a black one as apparently the numbers of these sold here was just about double digits.

I once worked with a guy that had one just like this as his daily driver. Brand new in about 2004/5. He used to spend most of his days screaming down the office on the phone to TVR about its numerous faults.

Focus RS, Ultimate Green. Amazing golden flake in the sun.

Not sure we can count that. Aren't most of the Mk2 RSs green? All the ones I can think of near me are all green and there is even a RS replica based on an ST that has been done in the green too.

According to a quick look on the owners club somewhere between 35 and 40 % of the Mk2s were in Ultimate green which makes it the most popular colour.

Agreed. I suspect he interpreted 'cars' as in cars full stop. A lot of RS's are in that colour, but not many cars are generally.

Funny seeing a previous car you've owned pop up in a quote from a long time ago. I sold the Mini a couple of years back, moving to a grey M135i. I've had this Valencia Orange one for a while now (18 months) and whilst it isn't super rare is certainly different to the plethora of grey, white and black ones...

Both of those photo's I didn't actually take myself, were taken just on a mobile by same person not using any wizardry stuff smile .Even with your eyes It constantly changes, one minute I'm a lot of purple, then a rainbow effect, mostly silver looking when cloudy and the 2nd pic under artificial lighting on the stand doesn't quite bring it alive as when the sun hits it.

We’ve a 120d Xdrive in the same colour. It is awesome!

No idea what the colour name is but there is an old couple live near me with a couple of unusual Bentleys.

The Wife’s one is this Continental. Looks lovely.

The husband has a (I think) Flying spur that is mostly black but cream from the door pillars up, think pint of Guinness lol. Not such a fan of that one. No pic as he keeps it in the garage.

Some cars do suit dark/dull colours but for me a sports car has to be in a bright colour.

My old and current. I only knew of one other Griffith in that purple. Chimaera is a 1 of 1 in that colour apparently.

That's lovely. That era of Porsche came in some great colours.

I remember falling in love with the Rubystone 911 3.6 Turbo which Georg Kacher tested in Car.
