Cardiff centre this morning 666DOC on an Aston Martin in a 70's Gulf Porsche colour scheme.... and 007 on the door.

Is this just a vehicle wrapping excercise or something more serious?
The plate is N666 DOC, I saw it on Mumbles Road in Swansea back a couple of weeks ago, I really wasn't too fussed on the colour scheme although I do like the car.

T4 on a blue Honda Civic on the southbound - Must be worth a fair few £'s.

Also spotted B17 EME on a black motorbike yesterday on the Weston Super Mare by pass. It was spaced as :

B17E
ME

Looked quite cool . . . .
I don't get that one rotate

I deal in these so get to see a lot of lovely ones every day on paper.

In the flesh, however, I saw 1 T on a BMW 7 whilst out in Windsor.

Proper 'plate that.

Saw a couple of plates today.

71 ST on a stunning looking (and sounding) Merc C63 AMG in black - YUM YUM

136 RED on a bus of all things

and 2 EF on a cr4ppy old, bottom spec Renault Megane of all things. What is that all about - never really understood the mentality of that....

In most cases, a plate is a much better investment than a car! biggrin

Oh and I saw "1V" on a RR Drophead last night!

Quite agree with the sentiment of investment potential but seen a little Toyota Yaris thing in preston wth the plate 6 D or similar acouple of years back. I think these people are inheriting plates off people and cant bare to sell them so drive round with £100,000 worth of plate on a £3,000 car. Now if I see a plate like that on an older 'classic' car like an old Volve, Merc, BMW or similar I do think 'well heeled investment buyer hose not short of a bob or two' but a 20 year old girl in a 7 year old Yaris....just cant see it myself.

I've seen a couple of cheapo runabouts with very expensive plates on. I suspect that they are family plates, but the kids are well grounded, and don;t get spoilt with the expensive cars to go with them. Better than keeping them on retention.

Don't mind being corrected on that Aston. It was just a quick flash on the way to work.

Stunning livery but I can't understand why someone would do that.

XP 1 lives on a pale green 206 that is always in or around Reigate. Driven by a blonde woman possibly in her 30's. Was on the car before and during the time of Windows XP being launched as well.
