Make sure all the other bits that he hasn't mentioned do actually work, good root around underneath as even he says it is not good, no horrible noises from gearbox or that mighty engine. Give it a long run, from cold and get it hot and leave it running.

Stop it rusting, if only......if you work out a way to do that I might just have another mini, one day. Once you've changed your 40th A panel you get a touch jaded.
That is ripe for a decent steering wheel and some period lights

I suspect that would be a difficult viewing, mainly thanks to the level of seduction on offer. One of those cars you've already sold to yourself before the phone call is made. First turn of the key and blip of the throttle, the mind goes foggy, and before you know it the full asking has been paid.

Nothing to offer about what to look for, but maybe best to bleach the mind of those sunny day trips to pubs with thatched roofs, and focus the thinking on pictures of mig welders and melted debit cards

Le Mon version also lovely. The XJS's time has certainly come.

Alas I suspect H508HLF has long since been consigned to the great French scrapheap in the sky.

It was that metallic silvery-green grey.

I sold it to a dealer who then came and parked it outside my house and demanded his money back when the ABS light came on.
