The bottom one is pretty far from an R34 as well.
It's just an R34 shell on a race car chassis

Yeah, with a few inches cut off the bottom.

Are you talking about the Calsonic R34?

Yeah, it just looks like an R34, sort of. Why you can see the wheel wells stuck up out the top of the bodywork.

Me too, not really a Japanese fan but it had me hooked with the UPS story about then engine onwards... not sure on the looks, but can't fault the effort and money that's gone into it

I've been following mr dahm for a fair few years now, nothings got me more excited than his 3 rotor or 4 rotor videos! Was so disappointed in the lack of updates on it, hopefully now its been unveiled that moving forward there will be more frequent updates!

GT500 spec car. Basically a custom spaceframe with some R34 looking panels on it

Just read the SH feature on the Old&New 997, saw in the comments Khyzyl Saleem had worked his magic on it, and this, this is magnificent.

Few subtle tweaks to the front, big change to the rear arches. He mentioned he didn't like the rear end which I think most agree with but he hasn't done a rear render.

I can only see the bottom picture at work, but I'm not a fan of the front bumper.

He's smoothed off the 997 DRL's to give it a smoother look, added a bonnet with the early 911 style indent in the middle, added turbofans at the front and changed the rear arches completely to more of a widened turbo look with intake vent in, and single piece rear wheels.

The rear wheels stick out too far for me. Looks very odd.

It isn't about looks - I wonder if the top one is 900lbs than stock with extensive carbon panelling all around, and can lap Tuskuba in 57 seconds?
Does the top one have 570bhp?
Is the bottom one street legal and built by tuners?

Yeah, thought so. Does stance really matter here?
I'm not kicking the tuning. I'm kicking the whole thing as a look. To my eyes it probably a taller profile on the rear tyres. In fact they look stretched! And the wide arches are just awful as they ape the JGTC car too much but because the car isn't "chopped" at the bottom the proportions aren't quite there.

Top Secret's R34 is a much more coherent affair. IMO

I'm suprised you still don't understand this car..

IT'S NOT THE LOOKS THAT COUNT, IT'S THE FUNCTIONALITY!

Hmm. Slapping the usual turbo and cylinder heads for more power vs making a whole carbon fibre custom body and actually designing something that's a tuner's wet dream?
