Just spotted this piece of JDM goodness.

I know this is an EP3 type R but is there something special about this one.

If it is genuine, the white ones were Japanese only market and (I think) had slightly more power. Rare in the UK.

Iirc the JDM EP3 was only available in championship white, had a few engine tweaks for more power and also had a Recaro interior. New Era imported one for a customer, not cheap mind!

There was a silver one from the UK over at this year's Isle of Man TT, I was next to him on the ferry home, proper cool looking car, I'd never heard of them before!

Good spot. There can't be too many of those around. 5.0 litre Ford v8, ford switchgear. There was also a mental twin turbo lotus V8 prototype made, which was a precursor to the AC212 using the same engine. Recently sold at auction for £15,000.

I think there were two AC 212s in the end?

Anyway, I was referring to the AC ace prototype, not the 212 which I recall you sold through Bonhams a few years ago? link below:
