Used to be some pompous tt parked his roller on double yellows every day outside his office in Glasgow. They couldn't clamp it (Scotland), and he could well afford the daily ticket. That was a couple of years ago now.

Funny you mention clamps. I was thinking earlier that you can't get one on a roller wheel.
I forgot to add those recovery trucks cant pick up a roller apparantly, they are too heavy, so he wasnt worried it would be lifted.

Way to is to get hold of a road going tracked vehicle, try clamping one of these. biggrin

But seriously so many just abandon their cars where they see fit.

Alan Love. He got wind that the council were out to purchase a bigger tow truck so they could remove the Roller so he went and bought a long bed Dodge Ram so he could keep parking where he wanted.

Interesting. Depends if the drivers moved the cones from the roadway to the pavement - or the works team just laid the out on the pavement for later scratchchin

As is often posted correctly, car park spaces are just not big enough smile

Picture that went round from HR at work today, im in the silver CLS, pulled in and parked this morning, in the lines, behind another car, then some individuals that dont get the whole parking thing emerged in their black hatchbacks

The picture I posted on 26/1/15 was just a few metres from there.

More inconsiderate parking from a complete fk wit this morning.

Matches the other two that a posted a few weeks ago, common theme with the type of car. Thing is both car parks have parking slots where you can park on an end of the row and just overhang a little bit into the chequred box, thus not needing to take 2 spaces. Just too lazy/inconsiderate to walk a few extra yards.

Let me see now, that "No Parking at any time" and double yellow lines can't seriously apply to me, I drive a 4 x 4 don't you know.

You see, a car can squeeze past.

Those spaces you can see across the roads are for plebs, I have a parcel to post.

So I should be OK parked on double yellows on a corner.

Ah, but it's OK, because they're "only going to be 5 minutes", so the law doesn't apply...

biggrin yup! The other week someone decided to park in the same spot but to keep the road clear, parked all over the path, the only way past was on the grass, as usual there were spaces up the road............

Sadly being out of town we dont have parking wardens here. Just an awful lot of ignorant ladies fannies.

That seriously pisses me off - when people think because they are not inconveniencing other drivers, they have somehow parked well, ignorant of the fact they have blocked a path etc

Clearly feels his BM is priceless! Level 3 of Cabot Circus car park in Bristol around 7pm on a Saturday... If anyone knows the car park, they'll know it's absolutely rammed at this time making this parking all the more hateful.
