The PH article just posted on the front page suggests the ugly (carbon fibre) front lights might be limited to the launch edition. Here's hoping!
Yes but that's probably CF at launch, plastic otherwise.If you look carefully at the pictures of the cars posted, they're CF on the white car, plastic (ABS or something) on the others.
Apparently, the headlights are bi-LED - I wonder if the weird light cluster design is meant to showcase that, in the same way Audis have that stupid strip of LED DRLs?

Really? So no PAS whatsoever? Didn't know they still made cars without...
Well, there is the Elise...otolith said:
I think the combination of light overall weight and mid engined weight distribution makes it viable.
I'm curious as to the stiffness with that carbon tub, could do wonders for the handling.Look at the GT86, on paper it doesn't look like such a great prospect to the onslaught of hot hatches, yet in reality it's said to drive amazingly good.
The platform has massive potential, but the devil will be in the setup. If they do a good job, it could be truly brilliant.
I am pleased to see someone other than Lotus making this kind of car. Hopefully, it will enlarge and reinvigorate the market for lightweight sportscars rather than just cannibalising existing sales. It will keep Lotus honest and if Lotus does eventually go under, there will be other people building cars I would be interested in owning. It's a shame about the turbo and the automatic transmission, but I think that's just becoming unavoidable.

I'm still hoping they'll do a cut-down, cheaper version with a manual 'box and a N/A engine at some point. I am pleased to see someone other than Lotus making this kind of car. Wonder how they would work in body colour?

I'm afraid it makes me think of:Crap photoshoppery;
Why the lights are not 8C-style is mystifying.

If they'd branded it a Dino, (not ferr..) would that make it seem better value?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
