Stereotypical grandad driver with nowhere to go and all day to do it. Get your toe down or GTF out of the way. You'd have definitely got a toot from me if I was behind you when you suddenly decided to stop in the middle on lane 2 to let the bus out
What was that about?
Surely the bus was waiting for the learner to get on with it shout

cars driving just plain on the wrong side of the road. God knows why.
People from countries where you drive on the right. I've made the same mistake a few times on empty roads.

Except the learner is learning to pass their driving test. Pulling alongside a vehicle indicating right puts you into possible conflict with it if it decides to move right. Better to lift off, see what it's going to do, then once the situation is stable, do what you want to do.

Which is different to the way people have decided to drive which is "you snooze you loose suckarz".

I agree with that, if the learner was on the test and came very close to the bus pulling out it might be considered a major fault and therefore a fail.

Agree. Also the learner driver might have been very early in their lessons so you can appreciate they would be cautious. Some people just dont give a s**t and think they are the only ones on the road.

Except you have to be aware of whats going on around you too, otherwise if you stop dead half way through an overtake you could have someone up your chuff - ok it will be their fault wink

In that position the learner should have been past the bus before it pulled out
either that or it should have been further back and to the left - why is there space for a car to come up the inside?
Something wrong with positioning there

The part of the world where I reckon most foreigners come from in Birmingham also drives on the left.

I think there's more to it than that given how much of it I see - I reckon it's just down to plain st driving. smile

LOL.

Every single video, it just makes me laugh
I live in Newbury and this guy is in Reading somewhere. I might just drive around and piss him off to end up on his Youtube page.
Look at his road position at the start of the video = WAY too far over.
At 1:05, much better.

I'll side with the cyclist here, it's not really his fault. The taxi does not indicate until the last moment(image shown).

I hate cyclists but completely agree that was not his fault.
