FJJ 24L doesn't exist on the DVLA database, it's the old type of V5 registration doccument and there are no VIN plates mentioned. scratchchin

I think you may have found a fake ringing kit with this one. hehe

If he can make £500+ on a piece of paper for car that doesn't exist, and its identity can never be transferred to another car, then good for him biggrin
What's the thing they say on "Hustle"? "You can't rip off an honnest man".

He's offering the ringing kit as an option. The shell itself looks rescueable.

When they offer to sell the papers without the shell, try reporting them for fee evasion too (option for "choice of items" or "additional purchase offered or required" ). ebay may react faster it they think they're losing money.
Very good. thumbup

Another boarder line effort here.

Could go to a Heritage shell build but offering to dispose of the shell? Idiot.

That's the third time the four door Escort has been listed so I hope you have a pinch of salt big enough to take with it.

I would like to refer back to previous sugestion. Bidding a million Pounds on the item so we win and turn up to collect it with the RS Owners Club baseball team.

I have a 'disposable' eBay account I can use for this purpose, but to be fair all that will do it outbide the next highest bidder by a fiver, then he's free to do a second chance offer to the runner up.
Not if his keyboard fingers don't work due to a freak Baseball accident. These things happen. wink

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/theshaddow122/&_trks...

I've just been sent this by someone who though they'd send a message...

eBay message said:
Dear theshaddow122,

I found a link to this item on the Pistonhead forum in a thread about eBay listed vehicle ringing kits. If you don't want to spend up to five years in prison as an accessory to a car theft I'd remove the item before it gets forwarded to the Police Vehicle Crimes unit.

All the best.

I WILL PUT IN THE LISTING THAT THE SHELL IS BEYOND REPAIR AND NEW HERITAGE SHELLS ARE AVAILABLE IF THAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER??
eBay reply said:
As if people who can afford a Heritage shell would buy just the vin plates and log book. You know this identity will go on to a car that will be either stolen or previously writen off car. If you're comfortable with that then what does it say about the rest of your items?
The eBay user removed theshaddow122's item from their watch list because they felt he/she weren't trust worthy and forwarded the messages to me to put on here.

Sorry but I feel the people who sell these items may as well steal the car themselves. frown

Looking at...

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/theshaddow122/&_trks...

...other items he/she is obviously a trader and not only should know better but who's to say he/she hasn't done and got away with it before? I wonder if my friends who work for the Inland Revenue know about their little side business? scratchchin
