I think a fair bit of the Concept CS made it to the production 6er "Gran Coupe", particularly the hockey-stick-shaped line along the doors. As for this new concept, I think, overall, it looks good. I like the idea of the return of a V12 powered, elegant big coupe like the 8er. I also love the interior; looks utterly plush! The front end needs work, though.

The 'hockey-stick-shaped-line' is on the 2 door F12/F13 6ers. The 6GC inherited it from its siblings. It's more pronounced in the GC pics in part because of the matt frozen bronze colour they used so prevasively in the publicity shots and it's a few inches longer.
What I really, really don't understand about BMW is why they don't build a 911/R8 Rival. Audi managed to build a car which instantly had credibility in that sector. You'd think BMW with it's acknowledged chassis and engine expertise could easily produce a modern day M1. The M6 has been a sales disaster....build a proper sports car BMW!
I don´t know if this has been posted yet. But there you go (Pininfarina driving):

I think the i8 is going to be this but admittedly it is taking very long to bring it to market, although it is a high tech hybrid thing. Better just to fit in with the 4.4 V8 and be done in my opinion.Regards,
