I had a silver 1.6-16 and a VTEC. I replaced it with a Celestial Blue V-TEC, 3 years old in 1994 for £8500 with 19k miles running it to 80k.
Full Scorpion de-cat, 15" alloys and 368CRX private plate on it. All I had to do apart from service items were a pair of rear calipers & a door check strap.
Re the post above about adults in the back for 30secs, a Fireman mate did Donington & back for the bike GP in 1 day = 600 miles, he did have to unfold himself a bit. Another time the girlfriend and 2 of her friends were taken home in the back, the sight in the rear view mirror was something else - that car has quite a few happy memories!!
J190MCV - I did see it advertised on here a few years ago, wonder if it belonged to any of the posters on this thread.
I believe the rear calipers were a design fault, and a common problem. Mine were helped to pay by the dealer. Apparently they seize as they don't get moved enough by the handbrake. It's a good idea to get the handbrake thingy greased and moved backwards & forwards by the mechanic at service time.Full Scorpion de-cat, 15" alloys and 368CRX private plate on it. Keeping the handbrake 'less adjusted' help as it made the calipers slide/move a little more each time when used.
The door strap was replaced with one from a Rover 214 which had one of the indents in just the right position for holding the door in place when opened in the garage - the Honda indents were either too closed or too open.

You think the CRX looks st? Maybe you weren't around to appreciate just how different they were from the euroboxes about at the time. My one is 25 years old and lots of people remark on its design.
I agree it isn't a bad looking car. By modern standards it's a bit dull but it's not a bit ugly. I think as it's a coupe it looks, like most coupes, a bit nicer than the 'normal' equivalent. I think most nineties cars that aren't coupes, convertibles, sportscars, wide arched or supercars tend to look a bit dull. Always loved the doorstop look of these cars with the extra bit of glass in the tailgate, back when I was a yute someone at the top of my road used to own one, they must have kept it for a good ten years. I always coveted it, and I'd loved to have owned one but by the time I finally got round to getting my driving license they were something of a rarity.
