I’m the conductor, and leader, and fuel them with petrol
I’ll keep my foot planted, and hear them sing at their loudest,
These pistons keep turning and I’m at my proudest
No windscreen, or roof, that detracts from it all,
Sat low to the ground, strapped tight, in thrall
And at the end of the weekend, which passed in a blurr,
The tyres are tired, but the band it still purrs.
What a rush, what a drive, what a car – what a breeze.
Please Caterham, don’t take back the keys..
