Please don't beat me up as being uncouth or not a true petrol-head when I say I'm not usually a fan of Porsche; full-stop. But this is an exquisite combination of precision engineering and art. I'm not sure how much of a Porsche is left, but the shape is smoothed and honed to perfection and everything else is just delicious.

If I had the money and a selection of other vehicles already in my fantasy garage, I'd definitely have this as my one and only ever Porsche. I bet VAG are kicking themselves that even their Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur operation couldn't turn out creations like this, as 'money no object' projects.

Simply stunning.

The Euromillions ticket didn't return a thing so I'll continue to dream.

Apart from the exhaust tips, that looks like perfection to me. Guards Red and RHD if I win on Friday...

This is actually the car Chris Harris drove years ago on his YT channel. The "France" commission
Hell yes!! Drove it all around Europe this summer...what a hoot!!

And it will be going back to California real soon, should prevent the salt issue around here smilesmile

Afik there is one owner on here bought the 'France' car used and has posted pics of it.

Guessing a used one is new cost or more though given the likely waiting list. Might be quicker to buy and then respec if you wanted.

When the waiting list is (afaik) 2 years plus. People will happily buy a pre-owned car and have it re-specced slightly.

I don't think you understand well heeled Porsche collectors laugh There's a lot of them and relatively few cars. Sellers market with the premiums that come with that.
Indeed, 2.5yrs waiting list atm so residuals on any available car on the secondary is quite strong...Don't forget there are less than 100 cars that have been delivered so far and are scattered around the world. Being an early car, "France" is going back to LA for all sort of upgrades and a new 4.0lt engine and possibly a name change smile !

I think this looks absolutely stunning, not a Porsche fan at all, but this just looks perfect.

Looks like Ed Lovett has decided to sell his just as this was announced...............

Awesome to see people using these cars.

Just my thought, I think it will be a shame to change the name of the car. France is the country which made Porsche racing what it is today. Tour de France, Le mans and other prestigious rallies. As well let's not forget that most of the winning Porsche of the late 60s and 70s were actually prepared or looked after by French specialists such as Meznarie, Almeras and more. Even the 917 were actually finely tuned by the french guys for Le mans.

"France" sound so cool for your car!

I didn't realise there were that many, assumed single figures for some reason.

I love them. The details look fantastic. Shame the mainstream manufacturers can't incorporate a similar level of design.

Goodness gracious me, that is incredible. To be a bit pedantic I might try to tone it down a little, ie the rear wheels look massively wide. Having said that even as it is, wow !!

I have absolutely no interest in Porsches although I used to have a 964C2 back in the day. This is stunning though. My fantasy garage has one of these and an Eagle Speedster.
