Her and her mates seemed to think it would be funny to run a stone or something donw the whole side of the RS. Lovely people. She actually got a final warning from the old bill and when I mentioned to the copper about a civil claim, now she has been charged, he did say "Good luck with that. They are not well off people." If I put a claim in they will be forced to repay it at about 50p per month and the chances of me even seeing that are minmial. I also know she is only apologising as the BiB probably made her do it along with her new appointed social worker type person. I still want to make her feel uncomfortable about it.
Simple, you get a judgement against them then sell the debt. Granted you'll get less than the total value of the claim, but you'll get a chunk of cash and they'll get a knock on the door from big burly men to take their stuff away. And for dessert, phone the Benefits Grassline and tell them they are fiddling benefits. Which they will be.

The only way people like this will change is by learning that their negative actions have negative consequences. i.e. they have to spend their weekends gardening, or they lose their playstations etc.
How does anybody think a written apology (can't traumatise them by actually making them speak to the victim) will make any difference.
Recently had a girl at a school that I teach at jumping on the boot of my car. Apparently she got a stern talking to
. I'm sure that made her think twice... Meanwhile, I am the one trying to get written quotes in case the school decide they want to compensate me. Any idea how hard it is to get chipsaway etc. to come out just to give a quote?

can you not claim off insurance and instruct them to chase the family for payment?
How did they manage to get to the car? Is it not kept in a garage off the street? if not I suspect you want to move all of them now.
Been out, pulled up outside house to get wallet, then intended to drive off to get some smokes. As I come outside at about 9PM after being delayed by stuff I hear a scratchy noise and 1 local and 1 not so local chav girls running off. Noticed the damage straight away. Its a big fHow did they manage to get to the car? Is it not kept in a garage off the street? if not I suspect you want to move all of them now.

The insurance won't go after the family. I will have to pay the excesses and lose some NCB.
AS I said, it will be me having to pay to repair the car. Though I will probably go to small claims court, sell the debt to someone like Moorcroft or some other dodgy dca. Will investigate this.

Why bother with Chipsaway, take your car to a good local bodyshop and have them quote you.![mad](/inc/images/mad.gif)

You won't be able to. Sorry."forgive me Mother"
"I am not a naughty sausage"
"jesus loves me and you little girl"
"Are they real tears? Do you want to see me cry?"
Stuff like that - she'd be really uncomfortable then.
Coming from a poor background doesn't give this biatch the right to be a scumbag. My parents split when I was very young and I grew up in quite a rough part of town, but I didn't vandalise other people's property, let alone the then equivalent of the GT3RS! I would have drooled looking at the car, but not damaged it.
To the OP: I had a car vandalised some years ago by a local drunken yob. My screen had been cracked earlier in the day, so on the way home from the pub, this lad thought it would be a good idea to stand on my car bonnet and kick the screen in, then break the door mirror and aerial off.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
Fortunately he was caught, prosecuted and convicted. Unfortunately, he was already paying compensation and fines on a weekly basis for other crimes/damages - a serial scumbag pikey
, if you will.
I received a total of £1.50 (1 and only payment I received) from £175 damages awared, for £600 repair work.
Push like hell for everything you can get. An apology isn't good enough. She can get a part-time job and work to pay the damages back to you ....
