who saunter arrogantly down the middle of the road because they know the law says you can't just run them over.
Saw one of those a couple of years back on my way to work. I'm on my bike, and there are two cars crawling along behind the tit. I nipped round the cars and sped up, he didn't hear me coming on my bike and I slapped him as hard as I could round the head.TallPaul said:

Irritates the hell out of me because despite anything you do to try and teach them a lesson, they know, and so do you, that you'll stop.
Yup, its an arrogant attitude that really irks me. The "sport" is seeing how close you can get to them, that usually gives them a suprise!Irritates the hell out of me because despite anything you do to try and teach them a lesson, they know, and so do you, that you'll stop.

1st of January. At the 9th sec. Who did it wrong? Pretty busy junction at the capital. The woman was in hoodie and crossed the road from behind the two waiting cars. I guess the truck's driver had no chance to avoid. Or did he do the mistake by using relatively high speed at a junction? I guess, both.
Van driver was at fault. On continent the rules are clear - pedestrians using marked crossings are untouchable (unless the light is red but then again everyone knows it means do not cross). On this particular video lights were in the night mode, ie switched off, and the van was turning left meaning he had to give way to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Had it happened in Germany (where simple failing to stop at the crossing is an offence) the van driver would have been fked big time.1st of January. At the 9th sec. Who did it wrong?
