Just a £50 easyjet away. Worst case you could walk away and spend an evening on the Costa before flying home (or be robbed by some local gangsters).
It's not a proper one. Hence its cheapness.http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C336949

Can't see the Targa. Bad link.
Targa link fixed.
Still, if is not a rotter and has fit mechanicals at £6.3k it's a cheap car.

Where did Derestrictor go? I used to enjoy his prose a lot.
Also Loony, where has he been for last few days? Is his health alright after he said he had chest problems?

There's a lot to like there. For me, the wheels are wrong, but nothing a bit of ebaying and refurbing probably couldn't sort. As you say, the interior would be more of an issue. Still a lot of motor for the asking...Facelift Individual 750 Sport for £10k

That looks like a lot of money for the miles compared the this example. Ok it's not an Individual, but I'd take the 90k fewer miles.
That's lovely. Good wheelage too!olly22n said:
Nope, haven't crossed that particular bridge yet.
Luckily (or not) I've got to the stage where she doesnt care anymore. I get the textbook"I dont care. do what you want, you'll do it anyway!" Then I have to deal with only 1 evening's strop.
She doesnt pay any attention to the various 'look what I found' convosations I start anymore

Mrs G is remarkably relaxed about the car thing. Maybe it's because we're still in the "honeymoon period". But since we got married in Feb I've had 6 cars and, so long as I don't take a complete bath on any of them, she doesn't seem to care.
I wonder how long it'll last...

I get the sense that if I did the proposing and letting her arrange a wedding thing I could get away with anything car related that didn't bankrupt me. Not sure its the most compelling reason for marriage ever but it is at least one...

Well, I could do with the space...
Link to the E28? this one was less than a night out with GP - so makes no odds really.
He might not have a link... What he might have is a piece of A4 blu-tacked in the window. <old school>Link to the E28? this one was less than a night out with GP - so makes no odds really.
But it was black, manual, red leather, no body kit. Looked a nice old thing, but it was more than a night out, especially "round here". I can find out more if you are interested.

I remember when I said I was catching a train to pick the CSL up. I hadn't got full permission to purchase, infact, I had none. But I got away with that one.
+ Olly, i guess you will have some E36 bits for sale? Are the wheels/tyres any good?
Could do with some bits to tidy up mine
