  • Warning* Boring tyre post ahoy!
At least one tyre on the 6er looks like it'll need changing. This immediately poses the Run flat vs. non Run flat question.

Now obviously they're 'better' tyres for driving and a lot cheaper, but I'm still unsure. Potential issue seems to be lack of a space saver for the E63, at least in 19" format, this would also have to go in the boot.

I've read that "BMW promote run flat technology because of its advantages for driver comfort and safety. They point out that when run flats are fitted as original equipment, then vehicles’ braking and suspension are set up accordingly, so changing to conventional tyres may affect the handling characteristics of your car. However, they do say it is possible to fit conventional tyres."
Anything in that?

Non run flats will be better. Just get a can of foam to carry in the car.

Oh, hell, yes
Just reminded me, I need some foam.

Best bet?
I bought a couple of cans off eBay.

Something akin to this after the dealer quoted me £20 a can rofl

Place your hand over each end at the line just behind the door mirror. SLS/Cayman cut 'n' shut.

Buckets of meh. SLS better resolved and more of a Mercedes to look at.

I'd put it on a similar level of meh as an episode of Hollyoaks.

When I first saw the pics first thing this morning I loved it. But I've already decided I'd have a F-type R coupe instead.

How much is it likely to cost - I hadn't realised F type R prices were nearly in to 6 figures.

I'd have to have a sunroof version for the seal noise alone cool

Plus it is a nice big sunroof if factory

Prefer the graphite to white though, only just

know this has been for sale for a while, I really rather like it and it seems reasonably priced @ £4250!

I don't see a Cayman at all. Its shape in profile makes me think of a TVR Tuscan.

I like it, but I prefer the SLS.
