Coming up in the next dvla auction.
Did they even make an ML65?

I've just placed an absentee bid on a plate in the auction on Monday. Doubt I'll win as I didn't go too punchy and am stuck in meetings all day so may struggle to follow the bidding.

I did that years ago for WOO 5H, lost it by £500!

Hugely variable. 'Letter First' are the oldest are rarest and can fetch big money, but it depends on the letter - 'X' will always be less than 'A'. 'Letter Last' tend to be more expensive if original issues from the late 50s - not all were issued - rather than DVLA auction jobs. And the numbers will matter - your suggestion of 1234 likely to be more than 8934. And a year is probably the favourite.

Mt Reg or Pork know more about values than me, but I would say from about £1500 for the least desirable/ rare up to whatever someone is willing to pay, especially in an auction bidding war!
Thanks for that, I just like 4 no.Reg plates. Wouldn't really bother me what the no's are though any 4 of these in the correct order would please my odd tendencies 31415926535897932384626433832795028841971693993751058209749445923078164062862089986280348253421170679

Have just registered for telephone bidding. I'll make my excuses and leave my meeting for 10 mins. I haven't set myself a limit yet, this could be dangerous.

I only ever absentee bit. Or I know I'd get carried away. I accidentally won AUD02TT after the fee's etc it cost over £600. Then an old lady at work bought a TT and I went off the idea of owning one. Lost £300 when I sold it. grumpy
Happy with my BEN reg though, bought for my sons 18th. In 13 years laugh
