Not to say either that those plumbers must be overcharging if they have all those plates!
They have other plates too, used to be on their website.
They have a large array of plates.

Only plumbers I know that charge more than British Gas for any heating problems!

Primo,

Couple of questions, but do you know many of the details of the gallery pics on your website? I only ask because 'im sure 470M is local to me, and thought I was seeing things the few times I have spotted it. Also MMW1 i'm pretty sure is owned by a family friend, who happens to own the building that the photo is taken in (Worthington family?).

....and finally to anyone who may know, I mentioned before, my neighbour has 1CES on his Bentley, but no one knows who he is, he has lived here for years. There are plenty of rumours behind his wealth, but wondering if anyone knew info that maybe was a bit "general knowledge" about him.

Cheers

It seems 1CES has been spotted on a Rolls, and mentions that the owner is MD of an Ice Cream company, but also on a Fiat 500 from an Ices company.

[quote]1 CES, spaced as ICES on a Fiat 500 from an ice cream company!! Cool or what!!

Sorry, I should have mentioned, more recently he has added it too his RR convertible. I'm sure its not on a Fiat 500, although he uses his helicopter for most of his travel these days so who knows. I have heard the MD of Iceland thing, but many people think he had some ownership of an Ice Cream franchise.

A4, registered to a Volvo V70, so it seems you were right.

Never seen any pictures of that plate about, it's a good one!

Well I can tell you for absolute certain that on July 31st I was cruising along the motorway in the south of France looping around 1CES on a blue Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead, being driven by a very attractive young blonde woman with a gentleman in the passenger seat. We were both driving roof down and sitting in the horrible traffic. I later spotted the same car turning into the Carlton Intercontinental in Cannes. I'll see if I can find a photo of it. I have previously seen the same car driving in London on 2 occasions.

EDITED to add the evidence:

Small world isn't it?

Passed a bland-spec new c-class this afternoon in Angus with:

G3

looked good and expensive - more than the car I'm guessing...

Also just realised I missed this one off from my crazy uploads on page 350:

It was nice to see this one because it was the star attraction of the DVLA auction I won my plate in too so I knew a bit about it.

Can someone tell me if I'm wrong about this, but single single plates, am I correct that there are a maximum possible number of 9x24 x2 (no I or Q, but both ways around) of them? i.e. 432 possible single-single plates - not all of which have yet been distributed?
