I'm not generally a fan of P38 Range Rovers, but if you look off the wheels and badges, I think this would be quite wonderful.

(and no, I don't think it would be £10k wonderful either)
Nope. I'd save for a little longer and have this one with it's V8 and Manuel goodness. cloud9

It's also in a colour that very much fits in with my fleet. hehe

Whenever talk turns to ultimate wallet bashing Range Rovers, I would struggle to get past this one:

I can't help but feel that £10k worth of 4.2 'Charged L322 would be a better bet, albeit equally as wallet-rapey.

Love the philosophy, but I fear the execution is a little confused: is a restored CSK or a homage to the original two-door, or a bastardised four-door?

I cant help but feel it'd be infinitely more desirable as a ground up refreshed CSK, with a fruitier donkey.

Whatever, it doesn't look like £95k of car.

I "think" it's a modern interpretation of the original 2 door. If you look at the pics without the CSK wheels, I don't think you would contemplate it being anything to do with the CSK. I agree, they've covered every base they can which is a bit overwhelming. But if I won the lottery and dropping £95k on a Classic was easy, I'd quite like to be overwhelmed!

I don't know these guys, but a lot of their stock looks interesting and much more down to earth price wise:

XJ40 Chasseur Stealth 340 Biturbo going up for auction, on Belgian plates but RHD:

Could do with having period-correct wheels and the sticker removed from the doors, that aside I rather like it lick

I like that a lot and sensible price all things considered hence it being sold.

What wheels are they? Almost look like Racing Dynamics ones from a distance, and I quite like them

I agree. For £95k (for me at least) I would want it to be one thing rather than a bit of a mix up/pastiche. I think I also agree that a CSK with some subtle enhancements would get my
Vote.

I'd also love to take a scruffy 4 door old Range Rover and have somebody fit it with a modern JLR 500bhp 5 litre supercharged v8 and suspension and brakes. Pretty entertaining, I reckon.

Mea culpa

If it were my car, I'd have them changed for something less in your face. To me those don't suit a Jaaaag of that era.
