Do you really think 12" or 18" is going to make a massive difference to visibility?
Not to mention not all car parks have the that hatched area anyway!
plus if dickwad in the toyboata is that poor at parking I'd rather not get too close to him as he attempts to get out....Not to mention not all car parks have the that hatched area anyway!

That is not really the point. Not to mention not all car parks have the that hatched area anyway!
This thread highlights drivers who D.N.G.A.S.
They park anywhere, anyhow, and hatched areas, or any other restrictions, mean absolutely nothing.
They are among us at all times, arriving from all over the country to annoy and confuse us.
They should all be shamed on PH.

Isn't that a great example of modern SUVs being too big for a standard parking space?
The Nissan Juke and Kia SUV are so wide they're forcing everyone else to shift further over the line.
Nope. It's a great example of people who don't give a st.The Nissan Juke and Kia SUV are so wide they're forcing everyone else to shift further over the line.
I hate the argument about spaces being too small for the cars of today; I can bring home anything from work from a city car to a large crossover to a Trafic van, I have never struggled to park any of them properly within the lines and with enough space for myself and a passenger to exit without it being a squeeze.
Look at the pictures posted a few above, of the X-Trail next to the 500, there is more than enough space within the lines for the X-Trail; a large car, to park properly.
It is lazyness and ignorance pure and simple.

Short term ('pick-up') parking space at the station when the London train is due in is in short supply.
Is it unreasonable of me to expect steering wheel operatives to realize that not driving to the end of the bay means some poor sod might not have room to be able to park at the other end of the row?
Is it unreasonable of me to expect that if they know this, they should also care enough to do something about it?
I always try and think charitably, and assume someone was in front of them when they arrived. Still should move up, though.

Not quite bad parking, but hey ho.
Arrived back at the garden centre where I work the other day to this little effort.
The Eastern European lorry has ground to a halt as he doesn't know where goods in is.
The blue Peugeot had been parked behind the yellow Smart car and had very skillfully reversed back and was turning round. However, while doing so the Corsa arrived, then made an utter pigs ear of reversing a bit so that the Peugeot could complete his manoeuvre.
Just to finish things off, when the Peugeot reversed again, the Smart had moved in to his way.
Took about three minutes to sort itself out.

It is OK to park on a roundabout to take a call as long as you display your hazard warning lights
Unless you have broken down, but we know what they are doing. . Just another idiot on our roads no doubt. Why hasn't he taken the two minutes to pair his phone with the car?
