I've seen this car driving around near me, and can confirm it is indeed immaculate. I used to own an identical one, NJ52 WJN.
I have read the thread on ClioSport numerous times and the amount of time and effort he's put into it is superb. I think a mint 172 Cup will be a future classic, always hankered for a minter.

Yes yes yes. When I was in Vegas 2 years back there were loads of these Camaros about. None of them were the top spec performance versions like the ones in your post, but even the "cooking" spec ones that all the rental places had were V6s and V8s, and they were such good looking and sounding cars.

I've just put a deposit down on this and I'm picking it up tomorrow morning biggrin

A little late on the update.

To summarise, buying this car is the single greatest decision I've ever made yes

Looks absolutely mint. I'd love to have one of these again and relive 1995!

Doing some digging around about K20 Elise conversions and came across this supercharged K20 340r lick

Just the job squishing flies in your teeth on these dry sunny nights!

If i could choose any car in the world, money no object, it would probably be the above, in Deep Impact Blue, with the Modna Full heated leather pack

Yeah I've been searching for one for a bit. I do prefer Solar Orange but I've been there and done that, green is next on my list! Then I want a Merlin Purple Audi S1 or preferably a Polo R when they bring out the DSG option.

I had a great drive with one of these recently. Came up behind one on some great roads. Unfortunately I couldn't hear it in my car but looked stunning. I was straight onto the classifieds later but they are expensive!! (Deservedly so, but I don't think I could stretch that far)

Sounds like a plan, not tempted to chop the Aston in for a DBS/Vanquish?

Looked at a DBS Volante a bit ago. Can't justify the cost for the minimal upgrade.

Although I am quite obsessed by this gen 2 DB9 - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/a...

That looks awesome fun, I never knew Ginetta did rear engine cars.

But then I'm rubbish on old ginettas.

Been looking to get one as a second car for the wife and replace the S max. Wanted something that is bought with the heart and not head.
Both me and the wife love it but in no rush to get one next week. Just talking our time. looking at dealers etc...

then take one for a test ride and see how we get one

I loved the look of that, until I got to the side view, then I didn't...

the side windows and opening are bad, it must be said, also the way the boot shutline chops the bodywork looks odd, despite making access fantastic. Still love it though, think the windows could be sorted have seen different versions.
