It is amazing how much people can lose their minds behind the wheel. If you want a far worse example, watch the vid that follows that yikes Or maybe, don't...
Do you mean this one? the narrator is a bit annoying but the clips are all pretty interesting.

I'm sure that no one involved in the first clip found it remotely amusing, but ... rofl

I'd love to see what happened before that. I'd bet money it started as something minor that should have been forgotten half a mile down the road.

I'm going to take a wild guess at the trailer car pulled out to overtake the truck in front of the SUV and it all escalated from there. Usual story.

Gong, he is wrong, GREEN does not (r) not mean GO, it means you may go if the way is clear, (at least in UK - at times smile) bet he got more than a few points on his licence.

As a tertiary comment; bus was moving quite rapidly next to stationary traffic.

Indeed. Another case of idiots colliding…but one is a ‘professional’.

Stationary traffic yes, but it looks like a bus lane - there is a solid white line between the BMW and the right hand lane. THe bus driver has every right to expect the BMW not to enter the lane ( without checking it is clear )

Yes, but people do stupid things and the bus driver made no allowance for that.

Less than a second from BMW moving to bus hitting it, it would have to have been travelling at 2mph to avoid that.

He would have hit it less hard though. If you are driving a heavy vehicle with possibly 60+ passengers, likely including a fair proportion of the young and the old, and no seat belts, defensive driving seems a good policy.

hashtag bike nonce was trending on Twitter earlier in the year. It wasn't about CM.
Indeed, millionaire former-footballer Barton has launched a GoFundMe to raise £100k, apparently to counter-sue Vine for defamation for suggesting a brain injury might have caused his behaviour, which is seemingly what set him off. Vine has a low tolerance to stuff these days, after that utter loon Alex Belfield.

Personally I dont think the bus should have been driving slower, cars should not be in that lane, and might have helped if the car had done a mirror check first.

Dont understand this from a daily paper "A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed officers were called but nobody was arrested or seriously injured."

I agree it's debatable, for one thing it is hard to judge just how fast he was going, or whether it is a place where idiots are likely to do what the BMW did.

But it looks as if the bus driver nearly lost control after the impact which surprised me- I have been on a bus that hit a car at speed, I got a good view being standing near the driver, and the impact made practically no difference to the bus at all, it went straight through the car.

Wow, the front of that bus was a lot more flimsy than the one I was on. That amount of damage might explain the near loss of control.
