Some sort of Porsche 356 replica, or a modified real one.

I'm feeling brave so here's my e28. I think the car looks about right just on the lookout for some 80's deep dish alloys to finish it off.

That's pretty tidy, whats been done to it?

I never quite get the need for cooling diffs... what sort of temperature should they be running at 'normal'... vs. what sort of temperature could they potentially heat up to under work?

How do you stop the oil being too cooled down? My rear diff definitely has a temperature in the middle where it runs smoothest. Does it have some sort of regulation?
A chap on here with a R35 GTR said the boot on the vehicle is useless for frozen food as the diff gets so hot it's reasonably warm inside the boot.

Its a real Porsche 1960 365B roadster converted into a race car with an amazing race history. Loads more pics and its full history here:

I thought the GTR had a transaxle 'box, so it would be that getting hot wouldn't it?

That is crazy! Should it be working that hard (friction etc)... is it designed to become so hot?
I would imagine the diff could reach very high temperatures under heavy load!

That's lovely! Not modified much (unless mechanically) - but it just looks so smooooth.

Like. smile
