I never quite get the need for cooling diffs... what sort of temperature should they be running at 'normal'... vs. what sort of temperature could they potentially heat up to under work?
How do you stop the oil being too cooled down? My rear diff definitely has a temperature in the middle where it runs smoothest. Does it have some sort of regulation?
A chap on here with a R35 GTR said the boot on the vehicle is useless for frozen food as the diff gets so hot it's reasonably warm inside the boot. How do you stop the oil being too cooled down?
