Love most of it, however every time I look at the spoiler on the spoiler I instantly picture a meme in my head of Xzibit saying "Yo Dawg, I heard you like spoilers" hehe

thumbup

I never quite get the need for cooling diffs... what sort of temperature should they be running at 'normal'... vs. what sort of temperature could they potentially heat up to under work?

How do you stop the oil being too cooled down? My rear diff definitely has a temperature in the middle where it runs smoothest. Does it have some sort of regulation?
That is crazy! Should it be working that hard (friction etc)... is it designed to become so hot?
Thermostat. Just the same as your radiator, and just the same as if you fit an additional oil cooler to your car - you use a thermostat.

I thought the GTR had a transaxle 'box, so it would be that getting hot wouldn't it?
I'd be surprised if the GTR had a rear transaxle - what with it being 4wd!? As then surely you'd have two propshafts, one going backwards at engine speed, one going forwards at output/road speed...?

R35 GT-R does, Skyline GT-R (BNR32, BCNR33 and BNR34) does not.

That is how the R35 GTR works. The R32~34 didn't do that though.

what is it ? i hope its a kit car.. if so.. which one ?
Some sort of Porsche 356 replica, or a modified real one.
Its a real Porsche 1960 365B roadster converted into a race car with an amazing race history. Loads more pics and its full history here:

That is great. I'm not really into the modern Porsche's but would love a classic 911 with chrome and wheels like that.

I still can't believe how cheap this car is given the level of engineering and performance. Bargainacious.

R34 Z Tune
Could the Z-Tune technically be classed as a standard car, due to it being a factory approved limited edition?

Saying that I'm sure Nismo has to buy 2nd hand R34's to refresh and go the Z-tune upgrades to. I think I've answered my own question.
