That, and it makes a resfreshing change from 'hey everyone, I'm going to do this and that... erm, I changed my mind, I'm going to do... oh, hang on, on second thought that seems to be impossible... but wait... hey, everyone, here's a new announcement' that we all know and love from a prior era... IMO smile

I'm happy to wait and see smile

elisek - calm down, make your point clearly, i think we are struggling to understand what you are talking about. You seem to be saying something which I don't think anyone else has heard, so the burden is on you to make it clear. If it is as you say it is, then it would seem to be of interest at least, but I don't think you've actually said what you mean to say. If you just keep shouting and not making sense we will all just assume it's a load of rubbish and you are insane.

if you were to start building cars and slapping the TVR logo on it, you are Passing Off pure and simple. Doesn't matter if you have somehow acquired the rights to that logo; you're still Passing Off by putting it on a car. The only thing you could do, *if* you have the rights to that logo, is to prevent the real TVR from using it.
Care is needed because you can't "pass off" your products as somebody else's if that somebody else has ceased to exist.

In much the same way, you can't "infringe" a registered trade mark if that mark is not being used.

Please recognise this is a complex area and the two sentences above are simplified for ease of understanding.

elisek - provide us with a link to the information you have and let us digest what you have.

To simply state what you have with such smugness isn't going to win you any friends on here.

Perhaps it's the way your written English comes across? I'm not sure...

I state again: nobody putting finances into place to buy TVR would be that naive as to not do proper due-diligence, whereby, any questions such as this would have been highlighted.

ETA - bloody hate typing out on a phone!

Hey
i cannotsay everything but i explained what i mean.
Everything is public.
Everyone is able to read can understand except 99% of the people that are able maybe to read only their shopping list!!!

i'm sorry to say that at the moment TVR is nothing, an empty box and that the only think that has value is the logo attached on a car.
Al the rest...companies in uk....drawings...and blabla are NOTHING.

If you want the key of the TVR story door you just need to read all the acts of the last 6 yrs.
It is not easy i know but everything is clear and public.
But as i told you, 99% people here are dreamers that scream scream scream without connect the brain!

cheers

I believe Edgar also has everything he needs to produce recent cars... It's not what he plans, nor wants to do, but he has it all.

Does this chap in Italy have this?

Oh, for sure. I realise that. I doubt any claim for Passing Off was settled in the Small Claims Court. smile

However, since NS kept TVR on life support the whole time time, it never ceased to exist. Although, yes, it could be argued that it was not being used. Although one could spend a lot of money on lawyers arguing it. smile

all the informations are online

EU rules are over UK rules....remember that!

just find the right way and you see everything.

it is too easy posts link....and after that you need to read for days!!

but everythink is public.

You want easy explanations....not easy to do....better read with your eyes. ok?

there are not secrets but only rules that sometimes are positive sometime negative.

And I'm guessing that as you are in the car building business, you make it your business to keep on top of such things?

You clearly have a better idea of where to find this information than we do - please post links.

so it's all in the public domain, yet you can't say what it is... if you are part of the 1%, as you believe, then why can't you summarise it for us? I don't think anyone is saying that Les has bought anything more than the logo and maybe some designs, maybe not. Everyone knows it needs building from the ground up. When you say acts, I have no idea what you are talking about.
