I didn't even think about ringing them, I assumed that would be a stupid idea.

Last time I bought a few plates on launch day, just to sell, was when the P-plates came out in 1998. I might try the internet route and see if I can pick up a couple.

I see that often as the chap must live near on of my companies offices. Its a Central London car. I didnt think it was an Escalade, though my knowledge on Yank cars is poor.
