Absolutely love the 458 coupe.

Saw the first pic of this and thought someone was having a photoshop laugh as it looks as if the car is 2/3rds as long as it should be.

You know that thread with shrunken cars on it?

What have they done?

What an amazing looking car - can you imagine the noise driving the thing - will be absolutely epic!!!

I'm totally sold, what a car, want one! May tell the wife we have to sell the house and live in a 458 spider from now on!!

Am I the only one that thinks this is closer to a targa top than a convertable?

The 458 was my dream car. The 458 Spider has just surpassed that. This looks amazing. cloud9

IMO, that looks rather gorgeous!

I'd have one over the coupe, even if it is "slower" and wobbly as jello, as Clarkson will surely tell us... rolleyes

Instantly evokes the Elise from the rear.

Does resemble both an Enzo and F50 from different angles.

I thought the coupe was ugly, but this is stunning smile

Roof down I still love the 355, but that's just cos I'm old. Yup this is gorgeous, ESP roof up, and the noise will be outstanding with the roof down. However can't help but think that the only conversation you'll be holding 125mph will involve the location of traffic police

I have to say, i think this is one of the few occasions when a open top version appeals more, it looks amazing and the roof is both solid and looks to come up/down with the minium of fuss and no way detracts from the cars style, it's perfect! i love it, i just wish ferrari's were not so expensive, prices have shot up since the 80's, compared to porsche

I love the coupe, but I think that looks pretty ugly - I think it's the rear deck that looks wrong!

As if McLaren didn't have enough problems with the 458! Has Ron got it in him to sell something as exciting as that? That roof mechanism is a very clever application of simplification, though of course Ferrari has done something like it before with a 550 Superamerica.

Haven't wanted a Ferrari this badly since the Daytona Spider in "Gumball Rally".

That folding roof design is really well thought out, simple and yet functional. I think the 458 is growing on me hehe

Think the roof looks great and it looks better than the coupe overall. About £20k above the coupe too I suspect?

One house for sale. Sitting tenants (wife, dog). Not very well kept. Location not ideal. In need of minor updating.

£250k no offers. First to see will be done.
