F*ck me.

Im probably less health & safety conscious than most people, but that would be appear to be a machine designed to kill a human being as efficiently and messily as possible.

Flat out through Eau Rouge in that anyone? Either 1 million man points or a Darwin Award await...

This Zonda creation reminds me of this:

Surely the most deluded attempt ever to get a kit car through a VOSA inspection!

Is it the same owner? May be he gave up on the black 'thing' above and decided to create a Zonda instead.
That's made my day! Didn't think it would be possible to laugh so much at a car, it looks like a knackered submarine!
I want to buy that car.

It's the ultimate non pharmaceutical anti-depressant. I could make a fortune just putting it in a clinic in Mayfair.

I love the air intake arrangement, no fancy cone filters, flat panel filters, no airbox, not even trumpets, two bits of u-shaped silicon hose, flopping about.

I can't be sure about this, but it looks very much to me as if an "inconvenient" bit of the spaceframe (one of 1" square tube sections) has just been sawn off...

ETA - talking about the "Zonda i" not the other abortions.

And this is the problem, all kit cars get generalised under one category and get a stigma.

His story is unclear. Did it ever have a Jag V12 fitted?

2.9s 0--60! I suppose half the car would fall off on the way to that speed, so it would be very light by the time it got there.

"Please remember this is not a kit car, it is entirely handmade from scratch. I understand that some people may be able to make moulds from the body and make kits for the MR2." hehe

According to his thread it started burning oil so he put the Audi V8 in.

If you follow the youtube timeline it suggests he has gone through at least three engines to date, starting with the Jag unit.

He states in his advert that it needs an IVA test, and is currently SORN, yet has a video in the public domain of him driving on what looks very much like a public road.

Handily he's also put a date on his youtube video of when he drove his uninsured car.

I really struggle to see how anyone in possession of sense and sight could have finished that, stepped back and thought to themselves "mmmm, good job. A good use of my free time."
