As you can imagine the editors comments are going down like a fart in an elevator.

On Reddit too - https://www.reddit.com/r/unitedkingdom/comments/3k...

This article made me feel really bad to be honest. I have quite a hard time seeing good around me, don't get me wrong, I do see it but I struggle at times.

To see such opinions expressed in a newspaper like The Herald, really depressed me but I'm heartened to see so many people being vociferous against the article's sentiment.

Supercar meet outside the Herald office, anyone?

Obviously not me because I drive an 8-year-old BMW but still.

No thanks. I wouldn't want her to scratch my Aston Martin V8 Vanquish.

And she apparently can't see why this vandalism is just as mindless as attacking someone's car. While the effects are more serious, the crime is the same.

I'm a bit short on supercars so maybe we could just turn up and key their cars?

Obviously we would have to get conformation from Catriona regarding which cars meet the threshold, gosh how nice it will be when they all come out and start applauding and issuing us with medals, I imagine a lot of people will be welling up at that point.

Yeah a price threshold would be a good starter. Or is it a badge thing. Probably a badge thing. She would probably hate me on principle for my BMW, not sure what she would make of the Vauxhall though. As she is so ignorant, she probably thinks the BMW is worth more despite being 9 years older, because badge.

What's the end game? What does everyone want to achieve at the end of this?

Print a public apology and she loses her job!

An Apology would do for me.

Drinks, dinner, then who knows?

But we'll arrive and depart in a taxi.

A person without a car smashing hers to pieces, because you know, people with cars deserve it.

Feckin provincial no mark editor invoking the Charlie Hebdo defence...what a pretentious idiot. Using their readers as click-bait and embarrassed more like.

Bit ironic as they've deleted all criticism as well. Hypocrite.

Someone should introduce her to the Critical Mass cyclists who'll think she's Satan personified for destroying the planet with Stella the Nissan Micra. She's antisocial for daring to own a car and drive it into a city when she could ride a bicycle. How dare she?

Ideally, an honest apology - but that isn't going to be likely.

So I'd rather the company took a firm stance against this type of media - but that probably won't happen.

...so, I guess I'd rather just carry on the social media onslaught to make her life as miserable as possible - probably makes me a bad person, but I've done worse.

I'd like to see her save up for a wedding. Then I'd like the car to break down in the morning so that instead of the cream Phantom she gets the grey one. I'd like someone to wipe their arse on her dress, carry out routine maintenance in the wedding venue, overcook the lamb shank and under cook the crème bruleé. I'd like the pianist to be a no-show and I'd love it if her to be husband didn't shave for the day. Combine that with a corrupted SD card on her photographers camera, the vicar mispronounces her name in church and to top it all off, a guy with a Fiat 500 does a massive burnout on the lawn and ruins the pimms and finger food.

That would do it.

Whoa, whoa, slow down. It was just drinks and dinner.
