It may be my age but performance JDM stuff from 95-05 is the pinnacle in my eyes.
There's a 1JZ powered Silvia on ebay that I'd love to take back to standard aero looking.
Only problem is its being sold in Keighley.
As I'm sure you already know, if it's in Keighley run far far away. It will have been crashed/clocked/have a dangerous fault or any combination of the above. There's a 1JZ powered Silvia on ebay that I'd love to take back to standard aero looking.

Anyway, I always thought these would be a hoot. Nissan March Super Turbo. FIA homologated, supercharged and turbocharged, 110hp, LSD, ~800kg wet
Nice writeup on Jalopnik. Bonus! Includes Bluebird SSS-R

Yes it does look great. It would be a fantastic car to put a turbo Hyabusa in!
I don't think that level of power is needed, I'm not saying it wouldn't be hugely entertaining.....For a grin factor alone, I reckon you just couldn't go wrong with a sporty kei car. The few comments I've encountered from owners have all been positive.
I did go for a little google, and found this:
I'd sell my quad bikes to make room in my garage....I think.

How about a Mitsi RVR Turbo. Fwd crossover thing with sliding doors and the oily bits from an early EVO!
I may have partaken in these, weirdly practical, horrific fuel consumption, I once made the mistake of taking one to Alps & back hoping to play in the snow. A there was'nt much snow B It nearly broke me at about 15mpg C The fuel range was about 150m before the light came on which made the painful fuel cost even more painful. The Japanese do a whole bunch of great stuff: Midnight Racers, Mighty88s, all that weird neon lighting and stance stuff, touge, drifting ... fitting little furry toys in place of the rear wiper so they waggle to and fro ... and some truly excellent engines and cars from Subaru, Honda, Mitsubishi, etc.
Anyway, to answer the OP, the one car I'd really like to have had in Europe was the Forester STi.

Haaaa i remember when that surfaced for the first time in a while.Take a MR2 stretch it and drop in a V8

being part of the MR2 Community there was quite a buzz in the MR2 Owners Club.
Someone genuinely tried to buy it , it was for sale (Around the £20000 mark , I think) sadly someone beat him to it and then it vansihed again.
In my opinion I think its still in Japan somewhere , hidden away in someones collection.

I agree it's excellent! Looks like someone cut the middle third out of a muscle car
It's like some kind of little Lancia. Never seen it before. The wife's got an ignis sport and while we love the car, I agree that the ride is somewhat on the hard side. Not really a JDM exclusive though....
