Scaled and overlaid.
However...
In the right-side image, that is the reflection of the F1's side strakes and C-pillar/rear quarter window.
...Cleverly overlayed on the road reflection.

It's a very clever 'shop, but a 'shop none the less.

Sorry guys but the image of the Veyron on it's own (without McLaren) is all over the net. It appears to be one of Bugatti's own press shots as it seems to appear in numerous press shots all over. The only place the photo of them both together appears is on wallpaper websites.

Add to that the light source on the McLaren is completely different to the Bug and it was clearly taken at a different time with the sun in another location.

ps. Still a good picture, although it does annoy me slightly as whenever I look at it I just feel something is wrong laugh

Another interesting thing: do you see who appears to be the driver of the F1?

I remember seeing a McLaren F1 in a supermarket carpark when I was about 10.. At the time, I knew it was something special, but I wasn't that interested in cars back then.

I did find the centre seat position very cool though.

Flemke.. Just out of interest, is yours in this thread? smile

I'm not so keen on it with the high mirrors. Presumably there's a reason for them being there on flemke's car? All the others seem to have them on the bodywork..

All covered in the "Is this your..." threads. A few times I think hehe

ps. They are the mirrors from the BMW Z1 in case you were wondering.

I'm thinking that it's a gentleman who's in show biz, and who owns a different F1 from the one in the image.

Is that top there coated in some form of gold? (Sorry if that sounds really stupid)

Or is it the reflection from what i'm guessing is a strut bar of some form.

It's adhesive gold foil. It reflects heat very well. Not sure of the carats.

Oh right, that shows the attention to detail.

Just one other quick question, whats the switches here on the door shut? I'd assume you couldn't get to them when the door is down can you?

They are for opening the side luggage compartment (L) and the engine lid (E) and are on both sides of the car, as seen in this shot of the interior of #018

Here is a clearer shot of the buttons I took whilst an F1 was in Carrs of Exeter and yes, you can only get to them once the door is open

PS whilst in the one in Exeter it took me a fair while to figure out, once the doors are closed, how you open tme up again laugh It was nice to sit in for a while though smile

Great pics!! How did you manage to sneak taking those in the Tech centre? I thought cameras were a strict no-no
