Nervy your car is stunning mate! have you not heard from the 'gent' who offered
you pittance for it again?
no, tragically not. I've had tons of interest, but have been away for work since I put the advert up and have been off- puttingly slow in replying to people. Im rubbish at selling cars.

Not as much as I adore the sight of my own genitals.

I was inclined to agree about the rev counter - but I've just lifted this image from the Alpina website and it would appear it is correct.

I must be missing the point then. The rev-counter in the image I have posted is the same as the one in the car for sale - both go up to 6k which, I too thought was'nt enough for a V8 petrol.

Chaps, the B5/B6 s/c powerplants are/were all about truly humungous grunt.

In a blown Bentley, the vernacular oft described "stump pulling" characteristics. With Alpina, the torque levels were not dissimilar but the cars' portly credentials were far lower. Indeed, the B5's 1710 kilos compaerd to the current crop of performance uber saloon makes it almost featherweight by comparison!

Much excitement is greeting the new XF-R (and very nice it is, too) but that car hoves into action carrying a stash of Maccy D's equivalent to approx an additional 180 kgs over the old B5 - whilst the B5S has ever more grunt and power - and knowing how the earlier car's stats translated into eye widening forward motion, well... evil

At 4500 rpm in the B5 a small interruption to the HUD occurs during which a special mode selection is suggested to the driver: it is a mode called Kesselkreigenspurt...

It would learn the new upstart a teutonic thing or two.
