Triumph TR7 wiper motors
Austin Princess steering column
MGB interior door handles
Morris Marina exterior door handles
Cortina steering rack
Citroen CX wing mirrors
Land Rover clutch slave cylinder
Rover SD1 rear lamps

Beat that.

I doesn't matter what car I'm in, what colour it is, or whether I am stationary or moving. People will still crash into me all the time.

The back lights on the MkI Discovery came off a Maestro van.

The Marina was sold in America where the marketing played on the fact it had an MG engine.

The SD1 was also sold in America where the steering wheel was swaped to a traditional 3 spoke design.

(I wonder if they work better on a Diablo?)
If you want your mind truly melted, get quotes for replacement units from Nissan and Lamborghini.

A Ferrari F50 has the same clutch as the Masterati 4200...(quite a large price difference)

Porsche 993 front brake pads are the same as Ferrari 355 rears (...i'm 99%)
f355 and 348 use the same brake pads front and rear.

They also share the same pads too.

The 993 Carrera uses these brake pads for the rear.

As does the Ferrari 250 GTO.

My random fact it, the little triangle on the fuel gauge tells you which side of the car the filler is on.

Do a little search on it, big discussion a while ago where basically it was concluded that it works on some cars but not others, so its just luck

I thought that was about the pump handle on the icon.

"Pork" is talking about an additional arrow on the gauge.

Well, how about that. Never knew such a beast existed! Nice!

So do they work better on that then? The headlamps on my Zed are about as effective as holding up a match in a gale. (At least they were until I upgraded the bulbs. Now they're just about acceptable)

Yep, its true. Not every single car has them, lots do, but not all, and in the pic above the arrow is hooooj - they're more often that not very small, but a lot of cars do have them.

Have a look next time you're in your car.

Apparently, the chassis on the first generation Ford Focus was 10% stiffer than that of the Escort Cosworth. The Focus was also apparently pitched as a rally project first, hence the independant rear suspension when they could have used a cheaper system.
