Yep stick a Paramount boost upgrade on it and you have 600 BHP
Having said that if they do a roadster I could be tempted out of the Vantage.
Any idea what they can get out of the 4.2 420bhp version? My dad is going to very tempted by one when they drop bellow 25k which cant be too long now....

Maybe they've gone with the more over the top adornments in an attempt to increase sales in the US? Looking a bit Muscle car of the range.

Dammit. How am I going to explain to my wife about the little silvery maps of the Phillipines that are now decorating my calvins??...
Far too much info and just wrong. frown

Love it! Love it! Love it!

THIS is a car. Even in that blue colour I’d still have one.

Time to update the fantasy garage.
I dig it in that Gordini/Bugatti-esque colour!

It does remind me somewhat of the tarted-up XJSs of the '80s.

Spoiler, venty-bits and colour look utterly chavtastic (or is it sheiktastic?)

But I'm sure it's a beauty underneath!

I like it. A bit more American muscle car, with those nose vents and boot spoiler, than Jaguar but I like it. More Lister Jaguar than pure Jaguar but hey, let's lose the old man image.

Performance v Price-wise, Aston should hang their head in shame...
Not really - that was never the premise
Technically the Jag (and Gallardo & 997) eat the Astons but the experience is far better than the statisitcs wink

Sorry no idea - I've never looked into it
A friend had one and had nothing but trouble with it so it's off my radar.

I personally think that is the nicest GT car out there. Jaguar are over taking Aston in the Looks department now :-)

I'll have one with a manual box please. Perhaps the box from the AM Vantage will fit.

Candidate for pic of the week?? Despite it looking rather fake and photoshopped.

All of the above! I actually like the current XK headlights and was afraid the camoflagued car's looked too much like Aston lamps, but they look great on the final machine.

I also like the current XK's lights, but I LOVE the new lights! Somehow its still obviously an XK- but the new lights are really very different and make the front of the car look much fresher.

Looking closely at the pictures I think you can just make out some tasty new seats.

I'd love to see it's 40-60 and 60-100 times.

No wait, i'd love to TRY those figures many many times. Love it, even the 'dodgy' spoiler boxedin

Finally, they've sorted those awful droopy headlights on the XK. Was about the only thing I never liked about the car.

New ones look ace, so lose the tacky spoiler, excess vents etc. as almost everyone else has said and it's solid gold.

I'm liking the design on this one. Front lights look a lot better.
