I am literally speechless that the DVLA released that - personalised plate too, as "U" isn't a region identifier. Especially as they are well aware what people turn "11" into given some of the plates in their auctions.

That's right. not even L 11USS with a black screw. This guy had genuinely had a plate made up with the the letters L HUSS despite the actual reg. being L11 USS
Absolute disregard for the law. It was a nice car too, clean red Audi A3, and the plate didn't look bodged together or 'skewed', he'd actually made the effort to have a completely illegal plates made up for his car
