Don't normally care - but this was worth a pic. Especially as the rear and side windows were broken. Taken on a ferry Saturday night.
What does it mean? Do I care ?

Didn't have my phone on me so no photo, took the dog out the front of the house for a turn out and a Transit van pulls up in the pub car park opposite (Star and Garter Chelveston) it's number plate was badly mangled and spaced to read .........U CU!T U the actual reg was UC11NTU. total chav if I'm not mistaken.
I am literally speechless that the DVLA released that - personalised plate too, as "U" isn't a region identifier. Especially as they are well aware what people turn "11" into given some of the plates in their auctions.
I must admit I had to check on the DVLA website to confirm it was real as I to had never seen a U as an area code.

It was dark and the van didn't claim to be Pimlico Plumbers so I did my pitifully inadequate best.

L HUSS

That's right. not even L 11USS with a black screw. This guy had genuinely had a plate made up with the the letters L HUSS despite the actual reg. being L11 USS

Absolute disregard for the law. It was a nice car too, clean red Audi A3, and the plate didn't look bodged together or 'skewed', he'd actually made the effort to have a completely illegal plates made up for his car rolleyes

A Chavplated and vandalised Black X5. I'm wondering if MR O2GUR has really, really pissed somebody off on his travels...

Not sure if this might be equally at home on t'other thread, but the spacing places it here, IMHO...

Why would anyone do that to that poor GTR, trivialises a rather fantastic piece of engineering, I only hope the owner was bought that by a well meaning, but clueless wife or mother who thinks it is funny and they just have to have it on for a few months or something, makes it sound like a Fleshlight(TM) latex Jizz recipticle rather than a supercar baiting Japanese 4wd monster.

Take a photo, tweet it to local cops. Job done, takes 10 seconds.

Perhaps. But the people involved care enough to come on Pistonheads and post it.... why not Tweet it or Facebook it to the cops instead (or as well as)? Then something might actually get done about it.
