I was just joking, some poster in here had a 'similar' post, I actually drive a 1.0 Fiesta Ecoboost, working at Jaguar Land Rover as a mechanical engineer, nothing amazing.

Yeah just been and made a call to my local BMW dealer, bought another 530D for my girlfriend, all the extras, don't really need to go look at what as I already own 1 that is brand new, I paid cash simply because they aren't that expensive if you think about it when you live in a 450k house, hard work pays off.

It's a thread about daily drivers, not about your financial position.

So you think you're cool bragging about this stuff? when people like me and 90 percent of people here are struggling? I am eating beans on toast 5 days a week for my meals, I live in a rented bungalow and have approximately £80 a month to spend that includes petrol, so how about showing some respectper?

Sorry, but if you get bent out of shape by that, you're probably a bit sensitive for PH.
Yeah but he's just a kid, I am working my ass off to eat beans on toast twice a day 5 days a week, working 12 hours most days, I drive a Fiesta 2003, I rent a 1 bedroom bungalow and have £80 a month to spend on food/petrol and this censored is bragging about DB9 etc etc and his house, he needs slapping down!

Why didn't you go for the 535d?

Do you not love your girlfriend?

Got a special deal on the 530D and she wanted that one because she likes the number 530, she already drives a E-Class but the 530D is just to play around in on the motorway, probably end up selling it in a year or two, we already have 6 cars so a 7th is silly really but we have had a 530D in the past, we also have a M135i at our other house in America though we rarely go there as we are in the process of purchasing a jet for faster travel, we also don't like going on passenger planes (ewww poor people)

I wouldn't say I think I'm cool...

But I am proud of the fact I have worked really hard, putting away every penny I have so that I can afford a nice car at a young age. I don't want people to get the impression that rich parents have bought me the car or that I've sold my life away on a finance deal buying something I can't afford. Now that I have the Porsche, I can start saving for whats next, the Ferrari! smile

There you go again, bragging about buying a Ferrero next, listen you do realize not everyone is in your situation? most of us are getting by on eating beans on toast everyday and drinking tap water, I have £80 a month to spend on petrol/food, I live in a 1 bedroom bungalow, stop bragging, be modest.

Rich mummy and daddy alert, it's sad you will grow up to not value money in any way.
